How do I use the Messaging feature?

Broadcast messaging allows client administrators to send a text and or an in-app notification to select individuals within their organization.

Broadcast messaging allows client administrators to send a text and or an in-app notification to select individuals within their organization.

 

Here's the step-by-step:

  1. Log into the Control Center at https://platform.aware360.net/
  2. Ensure you have the correct permissions, only Client Administrators will have access to Broadcast Messaging 
  3. Expand the menu on the left-hand side and click on Broadcast Messaging 
    1. If you only have access to one Client, skip to Step 4
    2. If you have access to multiple Clients, use the Client drop-down menu and select the client you would like to send a broadcast message 
  4. Select the individuals you would like to send a broadcast message, either by checking the checkboxes of specific individuals or by checking the top left-hand corner checkbox that will select all individuals for a given Client 
  5. Once individuals have been selected, choose the method of communication by clicking the switch on App Message and/or Text Message 
    1. NOTE: Aware360 Smartphone App must be running to receive this notification 
  6. In the box below, type your message (maximum 150 total characters) and click Send

Keep in mind:

  • Broadcast messages are one-way. If the asset replies to the broadcast message, the administrator or monitoring center will NOT receive the reply
