Q: What information can I enter with my beacon?
Each beacon allows you to enter up to 150 characters to uniquely identify it’s location 

Q: How long does the battery last for?
The battery life varies depending on how the beacon is configured. With the default SafetyAware profile configured, it is approximately 3 years. 

Q: How does the beacon communicate?
The beacon communicates over Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) to supported SafetyAware connected devices 

Q: Do the beacons work with the SafetyAware smartphone application? 
Beacons are supported with the ActiveHalo device. Stay tuned for future releases. 

Q: Can I generate alerts when I get close to a beacon?
Not at this time. Stay tuned for future releases. 

Q: Where do I see my beacon information?
Beacon information will be associated to the asset that is in proximity to the beacon. Each asset has a new beacon field which will display the beacon info.

Q: What is the distance/range of the beacon to the Active Halo device?
On average, Bluetooth low-energy(BLE) range is approximately 50-100M without obstructions
